The XXVI IUFRO World Congress on 23-26 June 2024 in Stockholm, Sweden, offers an opportunity to honor outstanding scientific achievements and contributions to forest-related research with a range of prestigious IUFRO Awards. These are:
1. the Scientific Achievement Award (SAA),
2. the Outstanding Doctoral Research Award (ODRA),
3. the IUFRO Student Award for Excellence in Forest Science (ISA).

Vienna, March, 21, 2023 - The global scientific evidence of the multiple types of benefits that forests, trees and green spaces have on human health has now been assessed by an international and interdisciplinary team of scientists. The outcome is presented in a major Report titled "Forests and Trees for Human Health: Pathways, Impacts, Challenges and Response Options" by the Global Forest Expert Panels (GFEP) Programme of the IUFRO.
