The Institute for Environment and Sustainability (IES) at the Lee Kwan Yew School of Public Policy has openings for exciting, cutting-edge, and problem-focused postdoctoral/research fellow positions in public policy and/or global environmental governance. We are looking for candidates whose research focuses on specific topics such as climate change, biodiversity, sustainable livelihoods, water and oceans, and who are familiar with sociological, historical, and rational choice institutionalism, path dependency analysis, policy mixes, and policy design. We are also seeking candidates who are experts in global and transnational environmental governance intuitions and processes, including policy innovations. Successful applicants will contribute to IES mission to advance "fit for purpose policy analysis", and its emphasis on policy design capacity building and policy learning. Successful applicants will contribute to IES' burgeoning Climate Policy Design Lab (CPDL) and/or its Center for Water Policy (CWP). The candidate will lead policy-relevant research projects, take responsibility for project and grant management, and contribute to stakeholder liaison and outreach of the Institute. All candidates should have a strong willingness to contribute to IES's mission and to engage with new topics and research tools.
