EFI Info Pool is a platform for EFI and its network to share news about funding calls relevant for the forest sector – both national and international, capacity building opportunities, useful meetings to attend, information related to EU and EC, etc. The service is exclusively offered to EFI Member Organisations. The service has been running for 4 years and due to the changes of the usage of various information and communication tools, we would like to know, if this platform is still beneficial and how to develop it. EFI is looking for candidates to fulfil one Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) membership. The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) contributes to the research and policy support activities of EFI. Its work includes anticipating future research needs, stimulating research and study initiatives, and monitoring EFI's activities. The SAB works as an independent body and it reports to the Board of EFI. The SAB member will be appointed for a three-year period with the possibility of a three-year extension. The membership period starts according to the Board's decision. The SAB members work on voluntary basis. The SAB member should be internationally known expert with considerable scientific achievements and experience. To maintain the capacity of the SAB to meet the current and future needs of EFI, candidates with expertise in relation to forest biodiversity as a basis for adaptive forest management are particularly encouraged to apply. Interested candidates are requested to send their full CV and a signed Letter of Interest and Commitment by 7 March, 2021 by using the online application form, detailed information and links are available here: https://efi.int/about/sab
